Part of the 2026 Hat of the Month Club

The Hat of the Month Club is hosted by Oombawka Design and The Stitchin Mommy! Each month in 2026, three free hat patterns will be shared on their blogs and one guest designer's blog, as part of this crochet-along. The previous week, each shares a scarf, for the Scarf of the Month Club. This month, it's Moogly!
This is a relaxed, flexible CAL — join in when you can, make what you love, and crochet along at your own pace. This month, be sure to get the Simple Stitch Hat on Oombawka Design, and the Calm Serenity Beanie on The Stitchin Mommy!

Why You’ll Love the Ridgeline Stripes Crochet Hat
The Ridgeline Stripes Crochet Hat is a PULAD pattern - where we have multiple active loops going all at once! Crocheted in gorgeous Katia Merino Baby yarn, the shifting shades of green and purple create beautiful stripes and change every row. This yarn is bouncy with great stitch definition, but you can swap it out if you have a wool allergy. The textured ridges add plenty of visual and tactile interest, and the way we carry the yarns inside the hat creates a smooth but attractive braid. In fact, it looks so good, it makes this hat pattern reversible!

Crocheted top down, this pattern creates a cozy beanie with two distinct looks. You can add a pom pom or leave it as is - choose your colors and make it your own!
